Forum Acusticum 2026 (FA2026)

Forum Acusticum 2026 (FA2026), organized by the Austrian Acoustical Association, will be held in Graz (Austria), from September 8^th to 12^th, 2026.

Forum Acusticum is an annual international congress coordinated by a national acoustical society on behalf of the European Acoustics Association (EAA). The congress will be a world leading event in the different areas of acoustics and a great opportunity for participants to meet in person, to expand their knowledge, and to share new techniques and competences, in the wide range of topics and interests that acoustics nowadays addresses both in our community, and for society.

As organizers of the Topic “Update of standards reviews and modifications”, under the Areas “Building Acoustics” and “Room Acoustics”, we would like to cordially invite you to submit a paper. Considering your expertise in this field, you would greatly contribute to this session.

This session aims at presenting an update on reviews and modifications of building acoustics standards, detailing key discussions on airborne and impact sound insulation, façade noise control, and room acoustics within ISO TC43 and CEN TC126 and related national standards, clarifying implications for measurements, ratings and design practice.
